We be fine as long as we do everything perfect and get a mountain of luck. Were starring at using out gold ticket on Mr. Hype while the dolphins are schooling us in genuine team building. There is a difference between saying you want to build through the draft and actually doing what it takes to accomplish it.
We already knew this but Wilson's release is crazy quick. Combined with the velocity it looked like the ball was coming out of a Jugs machine. They just said he threw 60 yards away from his body on the run. I think we can put any arm strength concerns to rest.
Relax, take a breather... we have many draft picks this year and next. Dolphins rely on Tua being their guy that is still up in the air if he is good enough.
Even in the midst on NFLN trying to create this huge separation between Wilson & Fields, their own statistical graphics continue to counter the narrative.
Because if JD traded back and got extra picks, it's guaranteed that everyone he selected would become a star
And that apply for all the young QB. If the Jets take the right guy it would not mater about their trade up and down. If he is not the guy we will be back in the top 5 in no time. I would rather be optimistic then being all doom and gloom.
I choose realistic over optimistic or doom and gloom. The reality is closer to Miami owning the AFC east.
If I had a to put a bet I would select the Bills. They already have the most important player locked up.
You are advocating for trading down and not addressing the QB position? The Dolphins whom you are praising drafted Tua in 2020 and addressed their QB position immediately. He went 6-3 as the starter and helped them to a winning record. The Dolphins didn’t pass up a chance to draft their FQB, but you want the Jets to pass up their possible FQB?
You never answered my question though.. What you don't like about Wilson? I want to know what I could be missing...
I know I'm in the extreme minority, but I'm not sold on Allen being a complete lock FQB. If he has another season with MVP chatter this year, then cool, but I'm still a bit of a skeptic. For the record, I'd feel the same way about Darnold if he broke out into MVP consideration this season.
The dolphins started their rebuild in 2019 when they traded down in several rounds and signed Fitz to be the placeholder while they built a young core. They did not draft a QB year 1 of the rebuild. They stayed on formula.
more picks = better chance to hit. they don't need to hit on them all. the draft is a crapshoot. they can hit on half and we can hit on 75% and stil be worse off. and buffalo is really good and the pats will always compete with bill there. our divison is rough again
