Agreed on all fronts. Not really absolving Zach of anything, nor do I think he needs any absolving. He hasn’t crushed us this year which is a step in the right direction. Zach appears to be a QB that learns from his mistakes and Sunday will be game 17 in his career. Let’s how he does from here on out.

I didn't quoted you so on my first comment so I have no idea why you think I'm coming at you. I just think it's assinine to compare Zach to Mark. I'm all for discussions on how ZW can improve or what's wrong with him. Personally i think it's a combo of MFL and Zachs inability to come off his first read quick enough. But this conversation basically turned into "Wilson is Sanchez and actually Sanchez is better". But yes. We can be friends again.
Wilson has infinitely more arm talent than Sanchez ever did. Sanchez seemed to be putting it together in 2011 then the Jets decided to strip everything away from him. 2012 was the season after the Jets flirted with Peyton Manning, yeah? Maybe that fucked his confidence.
2011 was also the year the Jets decided to leave Wayne Hunter in at RT through the whole season for some reason, probably ruined Mark's entire perception of Football!

I hope that you're right, not only for Zach's sake, but for the team's sake, and because I really want to go all in on Saleh and MLF As I said, part of my thoughts/feelings on this are because I'm impatient to start seeing Zach light it up. Part of it is that I still don't completely trust them. Where did you hear that they made it clear to him that he has freedom to go off schedule? I hope that's accurate. I did say in one post that it may be Zach who is holding himself back. He's earnest and wants to do things correctly. He works fanatically hard, and he may be the one going overboard so as not to make a mistake. If that is the case, then MLF needs to call some plays to get Zach out of that. He needs to dial up some deep shots. He definitely needs to start off every game with a couple of easy passes for Zach to get him and the offense in a rhythm. That should also help open things up for the rushing attack.
