Randy Moss works hard and gives his all on every play? That's an ex-Raider critiquing the Jets in any way possible. Gannon that is, not Moss.
My main problem with Gholston is he always plays like he is doubled even when there is one guy on him.
The sad thing about the trade is that we couldn't get Mangini to take Gholston for Edwards. That would have been a risk free deal.
lol, can't argue with you there. But the play I am mentioning and JTurds knows which one I am talking about Gholston was clearly doubled on.
If Mangini hangs around Cleveland through the next draft we may be able to get the top pick in the draft for Gholston.
who cares about "true #1"? There are very few of those guys around. if this guy plays anywhere near at the level he played at 2 years ago we'll be much better. He'll take pressure off Cotch and off the running game.
ah wouldnt it be nice to get the top 3-4 end for gholston? im drawing a blank here... whats his name Dunlap? Or what about Eric Berry? Oh the possibilities....
I think even as a second receiver, Edwards is a significant upgrade if we plan on keeping him long term. It's going to come down to physical talent, but teams are going to have to decide where to put their best corners. The guy can affect the game by simply running fly routes. He will most certainly help open up the running game and Keller. It could also be disastrous. We'll see which Braylon Edwards shows up. I think this team has the roster to contain him. Tell him to cut the crap and let's see what he can do. Also, does anyone know, is Daboll's scheme similar to Schottenheimer's? If so, this could be a better move than I thought. -X-
