I don't disagree, although I'd rather just see them traded to other teams to gain some decent draft capital and start the process of dismantling this ridiculously overrated roster of individuals.
Not hard to do. They won a few more regular season games. Excuse me if I don’t throw the guy a parade. Rex made 2 AFCCG. Does that make HIM a good choice? Hard pass on both of them
I think people underestimate how much of a powerful factor the ny media is in the jets circus and negative culture. These people set the narratives. They love negativity and look for it in anything that happens, then they either write about it or talk about it, fans listen to it or read it and then believe it, and it gets everyone all riled up. Then they ask jets coaches about it in press conferences, the jets coaches are forced to answer, then the media uses that answer to talk about it negatively again, and around and around it goes. It creates a terrible atmosphere where everyone is on edge, looking to deflect blame, and moral is low. I really don’t think anything plays as big a role in the jets losing as much as the media does. Bottom feeding scumbags imo.
Jaguars fire Doug Pederson Given how bad a job he did in Jacksonville with both the team and developing Trevor Lawrence, I'm sure he'll climb right to the top of Woody's list.
A coach who cannot stand scrutiny is simply weak. Thin skinned and thick headed coaches fear the press and "keep receipts" - how does that work out in the W - L column?
I don’t have an answer, I just know who I DON’T want. Under any circumstances. No more underwhelming former Dolphins coaches!
Frank Reich? he was a finalist here before. he did a good job with the Colts and got a raw deal with them and the Panthers both
Take a look at the top offenses in NFL: https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team...able/passing/sort/totalPointsPerGame/dir/desc Lions, Bills, Ravens, Bucks, Commanders. OCs: Ben Johnson, Brady, Monken, Coen, Kingsbury. Kingsburry has HC experience and made play-offs as a HC. I feel the path to the HC is very clear. Interview these 5 guys and pick the best available one that's willing to come. That HC will also call offensive plays. Then perhaps if Mayo wanted to stick it to Kraft within the division, that's our DC.
I just want to get it written down for three years from now when he is fired and everyone hates him: Brian Flores is a laughably bad choice for HC.
As a piggyback on my previous post, Jerod Mayo has never been a DC. Never called plays. So we have people clamoring for another failed Dolphin coach who was incompetent offensively, and pair him with a DC who has never been a DC before. Simply bc they “want to stick it to the division!” LMFAO.
I hate to say it, but his complete overreaction and scorched earth attitude about not getting the Giants job really turned me off to him. The Giants followed all protocols properly and gave him every ounce of a fair shot at the job. Bellicheck is an old coot who can’t send a proper text and somehow Flores felt that was license to call everyone a racist for not picking him and sue the league. If we’re going the route of a DC being HC again then I’d much prefer A Glenn.
A typical Jets hire if there ever was one: [Rapoport] - The #Jets have put in a request to speak with #Texans OC Bobby Slowik, source said
