We are way overthinking this lol.

The Lions' offense is very well constructed. It's creative, unpredictable, and innovative. Under Johnson, the Lions have had the 5th, 5th, and 2nd best scoring offenses in the NFL. They had the 25th best scoring offense the year prior to him becoming OC (with the same QB they have now).

Johnson would be an amazing hire for the Jets. It's not going to happen though because he'll have his pick of the litter.

Realistic best case scenario for us is probably Kingsbury.

Amen to that. Everyone imagines facts but him, which he proposes as gospel.

What's really obnoxious is your "take" (your word) on my business experience - you don't know anything about me so your take can be nothing other than your imagination at work. If you don't like me calling you out on it, the solution is simple.

Feel free to take everything you ever see or hear from a public figure in ten second clips at face value - I know better.

So, you got yourself awake enough to make a completely personal attack here once again with absolutely nothing to add to the conversation? Good move, genius - just when I thought you might finally have grown up a little. Do yourself a favor - go back to sleep.

You’ve lost a step man. Sad to see but I wish you the best.

By far, you have the weirdest optimism of any human I've ever interacted with.

I am stoned. So I could be perceiving this entirely wrong. Either way, I'd give you a high five If I could.

Right - more of your guessing at what's going on in the world; or should I say, "your" world.

Back up the Brinks truck and get Gruden. Fuck all these hot-shot coordinators, just get Chuckie.

Maybe Stiggers could put in world to the fan controlled football league and the Jets can be an expansion team there. Not sure if they need coaches...

Kingsbury wants a REAL shot at success in the NFL for his second Head Coaching gig. There is a better chance of monkeys flying out all our butts than Cliff Kingsbury coming to the NY Jets as head football coach.

No one knows who will coach next year because it's, guaranteed, a name NONE of you have on your radar. You see, winning football coaches aren't coming to this team. That's a pure fact. So, start looking at the names of coaches who have .500 records or worse.

I could swear you're describing Adam Gase circa 2019.

Fair but Kingsbury was ascending before a bad start to his final year in Arizona and then Murray got hurt. His team improved each of his first three years and then got them to the playoffs after a full rebuild.

Idunno about Mezz’s whole he wants a real shot at success schtick. But I think Kingsbury got a bit of a raw deal in Arizona.

I don’t think Kingsbury got a raw deal in Arizona. His relationship with his hand picked QB was broken and his teams were very undisciplined, most penalties of any in his time there

Seriously, If you were in the coaching "industry" would the NY Jets be on your list of stops where you viewed it as a career BUILDER or DESTROYER? Me, I wouldn't touch the Jets with a million mile pole. I'd stay put. "Oh, the NY Jets are calling? Sorry, I'm happy where I'm at."

That’s the problem right there. And throw our wannabe gm/qb/ego in , and no one will want to come here.

I wasn’t trying to call you out but there are 4-7 coaching vacancies every year and I don’t think career coordinators are as picky as the Jet fan thinks they are.

Some definitely are though. Ben Johnson seems like he is since he said nah fuck being a HC last offseason. Maybe Kliff is too, but I don’t think so.

Oh, no worries, I know you weren't. Was just kind of giving myself the last gasps of irritation from today's game. LOL!!

Right now I would pick gruden. Even though I think we’re incapable of it right now, patience is a part of a rebuild. And when they hire unknowns , we’re inclined to want to show them the door probably before something can develope. Maybe with someone who has had success before, we will actually give something some time .

Hate tosay it, I was one of the ones that wanted saleh fired. And even though I still dont think he was the future, we would not be 3-8 right now. We’re such a frustrated fan base, that we always want to see something done to make us feel better. Even if it’s some over the top knee jerk reaction

It’s amazing how Steelers fans wanted Tomlin fired this year and we jet fans are begging for even a average competent coach.Pittsburg is 8-2 this year with Russell Wilson as their qb, if that don’t prove that coaching matters I don’t know what does, if woody had a brain cell he would take note and write a proven coach a blank check and give him complete reigns to the franchise but he doesn’t.
