A voice of treason! Heh. I'm hard-pressed to even put Buffalo on him. I could have won that game with my goddamned ass, INT party aside. Well, I could have. Whatever. Growing pains. All I know is, we've all seen passes from him in the big leagues. I'm more than beside myself in the final analysis. Let us relive the DOMINATION against Houston on opening day. 197 yds on 3rd down conversions, I almost swallowed my own tongue. I don't care if it was beginner's luck and our D was shoveling road kill, it was an awesome rookie debut. Another big plus is that Mark Sanchez has Chimp ears. That won me over immediately. Hell, I threw banana peels instead of peanut shells for the first time in my life (NE home). GO JETS!
as well as playing in the AFC championship game and ultimately losing the AFC Championship game. I really like your assesment. He learned more than just a playbook this year. More than your avergae rookie QB that's for damn sure. Revis also dropped an INT on 3rd down right before the final 4th down score that nailed him in the chest and hands that would have sealed the game.
no doubt that playing sanchez last year was a HUGE boost. Kid took us to the afc championship game and was winning it at half time. whenever a rookie qb has a good first year, everyone talks about the 'sophmore slump' coming in year 2. well, looking at how well sanchez started out and then the slump in the middle of the season, i'd say mr sanchez has already experienced his 'spohmore slump' and is ready for his junior/senior year.
I'm excited by the addition of LT. Gives him someone to check down to on 3rd down if needed. I think LT's value is almost as much as a receiver as it is a RB. You're totally right about his chemistry with Braylon and the difficulty during the season. I think in an attempt to make that work as early as possible he started forcing the ball a bit and that's one of the things that got him in trouble. I also think a big help to him will be his use of Keller, whose emergence should take some of the pressure off of not having a great 3rd WR.
