Exactly what I was thinking. Myers is cheap so that won't cost them much. Torre expects Giambi to rejoin the team in Toronto on Tuesday. Hughes starts Saturday and I still here Chamberlain will be here tomorrow. That would be the three if they want to keep Duncan up.

Lets be honest. Things are looking good for the Yankees right now.

The Yankees are 2 games behind the Indians in the Wild Card and can take things into their own hands next week. 7 games behind the Red Sox. 1.5 games behind the Mariners who play the Red Sox this weekend. Things are looking up, as long as the bats keep going.

He's hit his longest dry spell of his career. It's your time Alex!

21 or 22. His longest Ohfer in his career coming into the game was 0-21.

He should have sat today rather than Jeter.

Looks like this is going to be a long and dreary game. Really really long. They are dead today.

Roger's inability to get outs without baserunners has finally caught up to him.

    Nice job there Robbie...

Why is Jorge playing, Torre usually doesn't play him in night / day games back to back?

Damn, this is the worst a starter was done since Pettite that one day.

Great. Just great. Thanks Roger. I no longer want to hear squat about Roger's lack of run support. For Pettitte it's tragic, for Roger, it's just desserts.

This is one of those days we're going to really miss Proctor. Karstens arm better be ready for long work.

Not that it's ever easy to sweep a series but I'm amazed at how we can blow any team away for two games and then get killed ourselves in the third.

1.2 innings for Roger. THIS is what we're paying you for half a season for? Please stay retired this time "Rocket."
