    Cuz Sterling is a douchebag?

Did you happen to hear his newest catch phrase? In the second inning, in a unique situation where a new catchphrase was born in a first at bat, we learned "You can BET on Betemit!"

Yeah, his back was kinda to the play. Still a moronic move, though. Out by two full steps. At least.

Actually, no, it's still because Sterling is a douchebag.

Why do I keep renewing faith in Damon?

I can't believe after that comeback they still won't manage a win.

Karstens really wasn't that bad. He was actually pretty good but Torre had to leave him in too long for such a hot day. The pitch Dye hit out was low and inside, out of the strike zone anyway. Not much you can do about that. That's the problem the Yankees have now, only one long reliever. They really need to do something about Myers and Farnsworth and open up some spots for relief pitchers that can help the team instead of always hurting it.

Heh..if Torre had given Cano the day off instead of Jeter we would have won it.

We have had far worse losses this year but it was a tough one after coming back from 8 runs down. At least we got another series win, just keep winning series and we'll wi the WC.

I missed what he did, but I know he screwed up.

As I was saying before the trade deadline, the whole pen needs an overhaul. Trust me, I wouldn't have a problem if they got rid of everyone in the pen except Mo and Viz (and now Karstens for the near-term while we see if he can help.) However, that's just impossible.

Our pen overall is just not that good.

That's what I was referring to. After coming back and then losing it.

Farnsworth gave up 2 HRs putting it out of reach. I'm not sure it mattered as we seemed to lose all our steam after about the 6th inning anyway.

On the 2nd home run, when Dye hit it, it was almost like the fans were kind of hoping it would go out, just so the fans could have a reason to boo the hell out of Farnsworth again. It was strange.
