Longoria takes Gaudin deep and it's 2-1.

another blown call goes against the Rays.

Melky hit into a double play... except Cullbreath (or whatever his name is) blew a second call. The throw beat Melky.

2-1 and Hughes comes on in the 8th. Lot of relievers being used.

perfect bunt by Damon but an incredible play by Randy Choate.

    Pitchers never make that play.

Swisher wins it with a walkoff off Wheeler.

If you didn't post so obnoxiously with those queer colors and sizes, you would be much more tolerable.

Swisher has been had such a huge impact this year, being just as productive as Nady would have been (maybe a lower average, but makes up for it with walks and pitches seen per at bat). And that's not mentioning how positive he is in the clubhouse.

Dude, I'd go farther than that. I'd bet almost anything that Nady wouldn't have even sniffed Swisher's level of productivity this year.

40% of Swisher's home runs at the new Yankee Stadium came today.

"There's not much to add here from past weeks. Many of the regulars will end the season with 25 dingers, 80 runs and 80 RBI. Phil Hughes is untouchable in front of Se?or Untouchablo himself, Mariano Rivera. Half of Alex Rodriguez's RBI have either tied the game or put the Yankees ahead, which means that he is rampagingly, beatifically clutch. So I'll just end by presenting a Joe Girardi quote about Rivera without giving relevant context: "I'm going to ask him every day how his groin is. That's what I'm going to do."
