looks like 10penn owes cappy an apology. but I thought for sure if 10penn says somoething it must be fact. he was so convincing telling cappy that there is absolutely no injury to hughes....it may be time to try not to come across as so all-knowing 10penn...and im not at all trying to start a fight with you or be a dick....but you do comoe across as a bit arrogant sometimes whether it be intentional or not.
by the way, my O key keeps getting stuk=thats why all my posts have extra random O's in them lol...Im typing like im insane
not to rub it in too much, but the yankees payroll is almost 4 times that of KC's, and they could get swept by KC tomorrow. Of course, in the NL East, the Marlins lead at 5-3 and have the lowest payroll in baseball by far (their payroll is less than half of the 29th place team).
WHich is absolutely meaningless at this point in the season. It always starts out this way. I'm not saying the Yankees are the best team in baseball, but i am saying that Orioles will not win the AL East.
Your O key has nothing at all to do with your typing. And I'm really pissed off that Hughes might 1) be hurt, and 2) didn't tell anyone.
lol I'm saying the best teams in baseball right now are the teams listed because they lead baseball. Orioles, Marlins, and Cardinals are some pretty bad teams. Not to mention the Royals.
hughes will miss a month or so, kennedy sucks, mussina is mussina......long season. have I mentioned we're goiong to have a long season?
Cappy, I apologize for thinking Hughes might be getting off to a slow start (which he has a history of doing and has admitted as much), and thinking optimistically instead of believing he was hurt. Even though I admitted you were probably right, since you were a pitcher and I wasn't, jonnyd expects better... and I just can't deal with him having a negative opinion of me. I sincerely hope you accept my apology.
no no no I was just sayin....MRI is tomorrow so maybe we'll know then. Nice apology 10penn....dont you feel better now? Im going to go watch the end of the Wild/avs game and then go to sleep so I wont be able to learn any more about baseball from you til tomorrow
I assume if Hughes does go on the DL we may see Chamberlain in the rotation earlier than expected. Unless they bring up Igawa. This looks like '07 so much it's sickening. And did I mention that Giambi is batting .058? Damn, what 24.5 million buys you these days. At least we are staying close to the teams in the division that should matter at the end of the season.
between the Jets and the Yankees over the last 7 years, I dont know which one sucks the life out of me more. So I was wrong, I thought that Hughes was sincerely fine and just hadn't reared back yet. Stupid me. This is really bad news. The Yanks are beat up more then Jenna Jameson's beef curtains. Sorry for the visual.
