Where is this magical angle that shows he is clearly out? He hooked and dragged his back leg and there was no way he could've missed the plate with it. Lugo instantly popped up and pointed to his back leg when he was called out so I guess at least one other person saw it correctly.
Even the Sox fans on here agreed it was a good call. What is the magic angle YOU saw that shows his back leg touch the plate before he was tagged?
Forget Ortiz, Francona was angry at first but look... That's on the game summary writeup @ ESPN.com. Like I said, 3rd is the only man in the country who thinks Lugo was safe.
It's really funny how to some this game came down to a "blown call",but when it happened to us and it actually was blown call,it had nothing to do with how the game ended.
I didn't watch the game, so I don't know about any other blown calls. I just saw a couple replays of this on the highlights and it looked like an awful call to me. Believe me when I say I could care less whether the Yankees or Red Sox win these games.
