Which is the way it should be! I don't "Hate" the METS never have..Watched them growing up but was a YANKEES fan through and through. The sad part is that there are too many METS fans who put too much into this series. There are more anti-yankee calls then when the METS play the Braves. It's too bad because it's some of the fans that make us dislike the METS.

Randy sucks and he may be finished, I am really worried about marino. it's to the point where unless it's a save sitaution I question why he is brought in. In the past he would hold the opponent in check for at least 2 innings and give us a chance to take the lead but not this year. usually he has a rough patch during every season but it's lasted almost 2 months now and that's not typical. If he's not right then we have no shot. I have alot more confidence mariano will get it going again than Randy.
Please, most tams are obsessed w/ the Yankees b/c the Yankees are the most storied franchise in abseball w/ no close 2nd. Add in the Mets and their fans have had to watch the yankees win year after year in the same City and of course Met fans are obsessed. Even Leiter said last night that the Mets used to get hyped up for the game but it was just another game for the Yankees.
Mariano will probably get it going again, but Torre needs to use him in better situations. Although, who would you have preferred last night in the 9th? According to Tom McCarthy on the Mets postgame show, Farnsworth left with a stiff back.
