Yankees @ Mets IGT, Johnson @ Gonzalez

  1. The Yanks are barely hanging on right now. Injuries left and right and our ace is pitching like a minor leaguer. I expect us to recover to at least make a run at the division..but right now is frustrating. I really hate the Mets...alot.

While Wagner was impressive tonight,he can't hold Marianos jock,so lets not get out of hand.

I guess I'm the only one who noticed Damon absolutely give up on that ball. He had a chance at it, but he got a terrible jump and gave up on it damn near right away.

    I hate that Move.
He does it allll the time....

Torre's just hard headed. I think his Brain is in his nose.

Giving up on a ball is so easy, a caveman could do it.

The Yankees put themselves in position to win right from the start. I wish Randy would stop getting the Ace treatment from Torre because he is single handly killing us. While I have always liked Torre,i am starting to see a little Herm Edwards in him with his Vet-love. I hate Randy Johnson.

That's exactly my point. If Damon busts his ass, he catches that ball. It's not like we have Willy Mo Pena out there.

The score is 1-0. 5 games to go. That's all I declared... not that Wagner has been better over his career. I understand that he hasn't and that Rivera has been better, but chalk one up for Wagner in Mets/Yankees games.

We all know the Yanks are Hurtin' and they still just beat us.
But, I'm not gonna play the injury game.
    Remember,
to METS fans this is the World Series. They LIVE & DIE with the Yankees.
Meanwhile, Atlanta/Philly are crawling up their ass but it's all about the Yankees...

All this and it's only been 1 game...LMAO

You have no idea and neither do I, so that means all prospects suck because they do well in the minors? Your logic is terrible

Another good point.. Damon isn't throwing out anyone anyway unless he's standing right behind second base. Why not play the flyball out? Dumb positioning especially with two outs and a guy who hits a lot of gap base hits.

What are talking about? I don't even know what the Yankees record is and nor do I care.

Your one of the very few...Most look at the standings to see where the Yankees are at...

Some would be just as happy with a Yanks loss if the Mets loss...

    But your different, surprisingly.

Most Mets fans here aren't like that. It's more of a thing of the casual fan.

If that's what lets you and junc sleep at night, then so be it, but deny the truth all you want: real Mets fans, not the casual fans, don't care about that.
