So telling as to the priorities that ESPN has, they care more about Roger Clemens and attention whores alike, then the actual ballgame

    Very nice game tonight
I have an absurd amount of man-love for Endy
with these pitching matchups this weekend I think a Mets sweep is VERY possible. GO METS!

Mets were better tonight. I'm just annoyed to the max at how Pettitte is pitching this season and the bats/bullpen just refuse to help him. He is pitching like a 1st half All-Star, ERA under 3, but only 2-3. 2 blown games by Rivera, and games where the bats have just been silent.

Gotta credit Endy for his shot, would never expect him to jack one, but nonetheless the Yankees lineup gets shutdown, AGAIN.

    Rasner and Clippard? Yikes...

These questions they're asking fans on SNY are hilarious

On Jeter vs Reyes: 'jeter has heart but reyes is a jumping bean'

Im back from Shea disgusted. Congrats Mets fans, I have the most amount of respect for your team possible. Im a little frustrated by the lack of run support for Andy. A-Rod what do say about you, I never boo'd him in all 22 games I went to last year but im quickly getting fed up. Outside of Jeter, Wang, Pettite, Posada, Matsui recently I have no faith in this team in a big spot. Good game see ya at 1 tomorrow

I'm definitely happy with the outcome of this game, mainly because Perez buckled down and had a good performance overall after some early hiccups (although I'm not ruling out the fact that the Yanks seems to be sleeping at the plate having a huge factor in that). Endy was unreal and was the other difference maker. I still can't believe how bad the Yanks have been at getting runners home though; I don't usually tune into YES so this was my first time experiencing it and I really feel all of you Yankee fans' pain. In all honesty other than this series I'm mainly neutral against the Yanks and would much rather have them beat the snot outta Boston rather than the other way around, so here's hoping that you guys tun it around. Well, after 2 more games at least.

The Mets over the past decade or so always seem to be bamboozled by rookies so I'm not writing this series down as a Mets victory just yet. I'm really hoping that some of our quiet bats wake up against these guys because Atlanta is up next and that's going to be a much more critical series in terms of importance to this team.

Good thing you weren't watching ESPN, they had the TV broadcast minus the pxp crew but it was Orestas Distrada and that crew analyzing every single pitch. When you are in Idaho and you rely on yahoo to watch the game and the alternative is the Royals/Rockies you'll watch that garbage. Every single pitch, I swear I threw up in my mouth multiple times.

I hate Jeter, but you have to give him the credit he deserves, He is almost as mucha clutch player as Jordan was.

Reyes can only hope to get to that level, and thats one that the stats dont really show.

    Dude, that was classy. Truly.

And I wouldn't worry. Reyes will be one of the league's best for a LONG time.

I just said yesterday to my co-worker, who is a Mets fan. Even if ARod was still a shortstop, the best one in NY would still be playing in Queens.

    You guys have a gem.

McCarver is an idiot, Damon would've been out by 50 feet at 3rd base.

Glavine is in trouble today with the strike zone this umpire is showing so far

Beltran would have nailed em, not even close. I hate McCarver.

1-0 Yankees, hopefully Abreu doen't decide to wake up here.
