I don't understand how you can label his play poor. He's been one of, if not the, most consistent defensive players, and he's getting on base. Even if it's a walk, he's a baserunner. The problem isn't Alex.

Seriously, when Delgado has a multi-hit game something MUST be wrong.

If the Yankees could just put up a white flag now and not have to use more of their bullpen do you think they would do it?

That's about as nice you can put it without being honest. The Yankees truly suck.

Not if it required the manager to have to wake up to take the actual action.

This game started like an hour and a half ago didn't it? It's only the FOURTH frigging inning.

The Yankees need to purchase an entire Japanese pitching staff to replace theirs.

It's not the pitching staff's fault.

Even though it's a long way away I think it's quite possible if the Yankess get swept we might be seeing the swan song for Joe Torre

It would be the right thing, but it won't happen. Somehow Cashman and Torre will manage to survive not only this sweep, but also the one coming against Boston.

I dont really want Cashman gone. He is trying to perform the looks of a youth movement. If cashman is gone we may see 30 something free agents coming in here to collect their final checks before retirement

ED commercials are so entertaining. Especially the side effects.

"Call your doctor if you experience a 4 hour erection or have loss of vision after taking Cialis."

    Ummm, yeah, thanks.

What a waste of 28mil Clemens is gonna be. We won't even have a shot at coming back if this keeps up.

Cashman banked on Pavano, regardless of what anyone said. He pulled for Torre to return when George wanted to can him. He chose to put two underwhelming first basemen in positions on the roster, but kept only Cairo as a utility player for the infield. He also constructed this bullpen. Plus, he decided to backtrack on his stance that Hughes would be brought along slowly. Look how that turned out.

Cashman is just as much to blame for all of this as Torre is. I was on Cashman's side for long enough, but all of his poor decisions are shinging through now.

Oh yeah, he also made Clemens the highest paid player in the sport, and gave him his easy relaxation vacations.

This isn't even humorous anymore. I can't even think of a sufficient word that describes just how bad this Yankees team is.
