I guess I just don't understand why you have to take the chance of running into outs with a lineup as good as the Mets and a pitcher as bad as Myers on the mound.

Okay, so how many runs do we want to surrender today? I'm thinking somewhere in the area of 9.

I'll put it this way. Why would a team like Miami (U, not the Fins) score a TD in the 4Q when they're up 25 against a scrub school?

Simply because you can. You shoot your enemy dead, then you shoot him again in the head, just to make sure.

What does it matter, the Mets are just going to rip into the Yanks pen. This ones pretty much over. i could see the Yanks try and make it interesting to then have A-Rod or Abreu f### it up

Why dog ARod? Because he isn't hitting homers every 4 at-bats anymore? Come on. Alex is one of the few guys, along with Posada and Jeter, who is consistently getting on base, with ZERO protection around him in the lineup.

Would you pitch anything to ARod when you know Giambi is coming up next?

If I was Torre I'd pull Cano out of the game right now.

I despise Cano beyond words. I'm literally bordering on hate now.

I rip A-Rod because he is Mr. 0-4 in whenever I go to see him vs the Mets or Red Sox. His hot April which was historic in baseball and he still has stats which are similar to Mike Lowell.

Please don't associate Joe with Billy Martin.

And he'd never do it. He might hurt "Robbie's" feelings.

Through the entire 80s, I was never as disgusted with this team as I am now.

Mike Lowell is in a lineup where he has to be pitched to. ARod is in a lineup that pitchers basically laugh at right now.

If you were Mike Lowell right now, who would you rather be hitting in front of, Jason Giambi, or Jason Varitek?

That is a valid point but it does not excuse A-Rod's poor play to me. I know im going to get the You yankee fans want a hr every at bat label. Thats not me. I am reasonable. I dont care about stats I just want hitting w/ RISP and in late inning close situations.
