    The Yankees needed this game.

    Pavano/Mussina/Wang on the DL.

They had the game too. I am still in shock.

try being there at the game and seeing Scutaro do this shit....I was out of my seat walking through the crowd at 2 outs and I stopped when I saw the first guy get on, then i saw Mariano walk another, then i saw MARCO FUCKING SCUTARO, who probably has to be one of the worst hitters in Major League baseball, take MARIANO RIVERA, who is by far the of the best closers ever to play the game, off the fucking foul pole on an 0-2 count....WTF...i wanted to punch out every A's fan...but I didnt...

Life sucks as of now, Im happy i had some beers in me, otherwise I would have been more pissed

Guys, chill out. It's April, not August. Mo fails once or twice every year. He's not perfect. I prefer him to get it out of his system early.

We're fine. The damned DL bug is biting us right now, but maybe we'll get a new strength guy in here quickly who can clean up this mess.

honestly,i think the injury bug(except Wang) is the best thing that could happen as far as SP go. It's time to bring in youth that have a hunger for championships. The offense is more than fine.

No baseball team ever needs to win a game in the middle of April, no matter the circumstances.

It's always difficult to swallow a Mariano loss as he's near automatic but it happens every once in a while usually early in the year. Andy pitched great, we need the D to improve and fast though.

    Hmm, interesting.

ARod's playing the field just fine.

    But Jeter isn't.

yep, Jeter has picked up where ARod left off last year. He is horrible in the field right now and ARod is playing great. I hope it continues for ARod as I know Jeter will get it going defensively.

The difference is I WANT ARod to be successful and I am frustrated when he is not while you guys want jeter to suck to somehow justify your terrible argument that you haven't provided any info to back up.

Of all the stupid things you've ever written, this has to be the absolute top of the list.

Then why when jeter struggles you bring it up? it happens w/ ALOT of people on here as if i's a competition to see who is worse. When ARod outplays jeter when it counts I'll tip my cap- I WANT him to do that b/c I know Jeter will be good most of the time in big games so if ARod is better it's better for the Yanks but you guys act like by bashing Jeter it helps your weak argument about ARod.
