Great post jonny. It'll never work out that way, but I agree with your sentiment.

    Joe's views on Villone:

Manager Joe Torre said Ron Villone, even though he's on a minor league deal, is expected to make the Yankees.

Villone "is way ahead of last spring" in terms of arm strength, Torre said. The 37-year-old is set to earn $2.5 million if he has a roster spot.

Joe's really going to make Villone earn that salary...Will Villone or Proctor be the first pitcher to appear in all 162 games?

They just may both achieve that distinction.

I really like Villone, but at what point is his arm going to fall off?

    Oh SNAP!

Felix Heredia on the mound, takes Josh Phelps to 3-0 with two outs bottom of the ninth, Yankees down 5-4. Phelps swings on 3-0, and gets a single to left. Then Bronson Sardhina comes up, and belts a two run walk off to end the game!

    Yankees 5-0 for the preseason.

I missed the entire thing. I turned it on while Phelps was up. I saw the last two batters, and that's it. Nice time to tune in though!

    RELAX on Igawa guys...

It was his 1st start against a good lineup...

Too bad he didn't face a bunch of college kids like Dice-K...And people just slurped over Dice-K because he dominated college kids?

Wait until he faces American League hitting...He won't win no more than 16 games.

Well, I've been around, but I have slowed down a bit. It's temporary. I've got some things going on around the home front, and I had told people that after the BS Bowl I was going to slow down a little, to get some things done that I'd been ignoring.

I'm still here every day though.
