There is no way that Petty, even if he plays really well the last 3 games goes into next year without a vet coming and providing competition. Best case scenario is a 3 way competition Hack, Petty and a vet with a early preference towards Petty. Petty made some nice plays in the 2nd half. He also made some nice plays in the 1st half of the Rams game. Going forward, the line has to be better and Petty has to get the ball out quicker. You can't put all six of those sacks on the oline.

carlos hyde looked like a future hall of famer yesterday, kaepernick was made to look like he did 4 years ago in the first half. this defense is as bad as i have seen from the jets in a long long time. watching darron lee consistently go to the wrong hole as a guy runs 20 yards downfield is infuriating. i couldnt take anymore after half time. i went and watched kids play basketball instead of watching that abortion. if you think a big comeback win against the second worst team in the league that if they had any direction would have blown the doors off of us is a good thing and shows you something about the future you are mistaken. just beat the fucking dolphins, thats all i ask.
