BTW, I have a feeling you're right about your poll. Even this one reflects more the prevailing attitudes of PC culture than the reality IMHO. Either that or Jets fan really are an enlightened bunch. Could it be? Are we really the superior NFL fan? Okay, I buy it. Of course, that'd have to mean that Patriots fans would be the other end of the spectrum.
I think part of it is the NY/NJ area. Down south and in the mid west the bigotry levels are much higher in areas that are heavily influenced by evangelists. This area is more liberal, and isn't dominated by fundamentalists, so naturally you expect more tolerance, and less religious zealotry. This poll is anonymous, right? I think it's accurate for the most part, if so. The funny thing is that I didn't once say he was racist. I said that I "wasn't racist", and he took it to mean that he was. Later on I said that I "suspected" he might be. I didn't accuse him of anything other than prejudice and bigotry.
I remember looking right after this came out and many sites had him as or 3rd or 4th rd pick. After his poor showing at the combine I am sure it has dropped some. Need to keep in mind he does not have ideal size either.
