I say lets trade down to detroit or denver. lets stockpile and get more pics. if we trade to lions we could pick up an extra 2nd and 3rd round pick. if we trade down to broncos we pick up and the 15th and 22nd overall pick.
with the trade to denver I would pick j. williams at 15 manny lawson at 22 mangold at 29 howard at 35 and at 74 i'll select o'callahan to play RT with the trade to detroit i'll pick up vernon davis at 9 mangold/lawson at 29 or 35 and thomas howard at 40 with 3a i'll select o'callahan with 3b i'll select maurice drew

thanx, I rather have v. davis but if we can trade with the broncos i well be pleased. we take care of our big need at center and right tackle with callahan and mangold at 74 and 29. we take care of our 3-4 line backing core with speedies (lawson and howard) 4.43 and 4.42. we can get a dt through the late picks or through the fa's

I'd rather have AJ Hawk or Super Mario or a top 3 QB. We need gamechangers. Plus in trading down, I would have to wait for so long for the Jets to pick at 15. Remember watching the draft last year? The Jets didn't pick for like 3 hours. I was getting antsy waiting that long.
Mangold at 22 is a bit much when we probably could snag him with our 2nd Best Position Draft 15- Justice (no need at reciever but Jackson runs like a gazelle) 22- Williams/White 29- Carpenter
i really don't think RB is a need yet. for sure, we could use an upgrade with one of this year's studs; but every draft class has good RB's that go deep enough into R2. i'd rather build the OL and fix the D's flaws early. Let the OL gel for a year and then plug in a R1/R2 RB next year so he can thrive. cheers
Very intriguing...But you'd have to guarantee me that LenDale White or Winston Justice would be at 15...Since most likely DeAngelo and Cutler will be gone by 15.
