Not sure if this is a shot at Cromartie. He'd probably be the #1 corner on 20 other teams. We just happen to have the best CB since Deion.
Yeah, if Revis wasn't here when Rex arrived, Rex still would have wanted DBs. They likely still would have traded for Cro. Though Wilson may not have been drafted as it seems he was drafted to prepare for the potential holdout of Revis. But its all impossible "ifs" and "buts" because everything turns on who is already signed and who is available. If Rex was building a defense from scratch like an expansion team, he probably would still want Revis. And when Revis becomes a freee agent, Rex will still want Revis. And when Revis does sign, yes it will probably be for a lot of money but he is worth it after all.
Didn't Harbauh tell Tanny when Tanny hired Rex "Get ready to draft corners" as in Rex was and always will be a CB guy?
