not that wouldve won the game if it were better, but just terrible... the non-call on conley and the placement of the ball on that punt were simply a mystery... im really getting sick of not getting ANY calls

Officials are going to make bad calls, it happens. I live with it but what is pissing me off is that they are supposed to be protecting the QB and it seems week after week Sanchez is getting hit illegally and they are not doing anything about it. He was hit in the head on at least 2 occasions last week and was blatantly hit late once. This week he was clearly hit by Ngata who led with his helmet and again they didn't do anything about it. The guy is taking a severe beating as it is so I think it makes the officials job that much more important to make sure he's getting hit clean and legal.

The bad spot, the calls on Cromartie, the holding on the punt, those happen. My biggest gripe is protect my QB from being hit late or dirty.

Agreed. There were a lot of late hits too. The facemask against Plax should've been offsetting. Roughing the kicker. Ray Lewis kneeing Sanchez in the gut. Carey and his crew let everything go in spite of a clear directive from the league to call it.

None of it mattered though. We weren't winning that game with our offense, but I'm glad we didn't lose anyone.

    Pretty much, yeah.

With our OL play we did not need any help from the officials to lose that game.

I guess they didn't get the memo but I could swear they were all wearing Ravens chearleading outffits under their zebra stripes.

The calls were so lopsided it wasn't even funny.

You said it and Craft will be sitting with Goodell in his Suite.
I saw Goodell sitting there twice last year. You think something is wrong with that picture.

Also, adding to the officiating. How many times did Ray Lewis grab LT and get away with it.

Love the many than totally misinterpreted the thought behing this thread to star out with.
    a) Did we play beyond poorly YES
    b) Did we derserve to loose YES
    c) Was Sanchez pass ill advised to say the least and totally killed our momentum if we had any YES

non of us said otherwise BUT
    d) Was this the WORST, MOST PATHETIC officiating I have seen so far. HELL YES
Who ever mentioned they were all close calls is out of his mind. Hitting Sanchez with the helmet, roughing the passer, spotting the ball in the wrong spot, to mention a few were BLATANT INCOMPETENT calls

I watch enought football to tell you we get far more than our share. The refs tonight do not belong in the NFL
