Yeah that's what I was saying. Golic and Greeny are radio hosts and Ditka is a television analyst. None of them should have been expected to be very good announcing a game. Theisman always sucked and Millen has at least done the other thursday night games this year. Papa does the play by play on the radio for the Giants each week. Somehow they all still manage to suck.
Theisman is a prick, hahaha; I swear everyone hates the Jets; always making it seem we are getting lucky. We make are luck ya piece of shits, we will bang patriot ass on Monday night. I hope theisman gets on the field, and one of our reserve LB's Breaks his other ankle. Thiesman with his one bar helmet looked like a friggin moron, he was probably sloppin over millen little weewee during the commercial breaks and some of millen's man juice affected his last brain cell. All the good play-by-play and commentators are already employed by the other networks. And I use the word "good" very loosely, because there are very few good ones to begin with. The NFL Network is just getting leftovers. And as much as I agree with you on these guys, at least none of them are named Bryant Gumbel. God, he was the absolute worst!
I still don't understand how people in the NFL who are proven to be reliably AWFUL land jobs in other places/areas. For instance, how is it that someone like Matt Millen, who arguably set the Lions back about a decade, has ANY credibility as an announcer or anything else related to the NFL? How do you not listen to anything he says and just disregard it?
Just my thing is... They have Mike Mayock at their disposal. He is actually not THAT bad with the Irish games on NBC. He does good color commentator job. Unbiased, brings up insight especially for secondary plays, gets you the info. If you get Papa and Mayock...that's not bad. If you want to throw in Marshall Faulk for that too, even better.
The other thing that pissed me off was Theismann's comment that followed Folk's extra point banged off the upright, "why not? It's the Jets," as if we get every break. Fuck You Joe.
