Agreed on all points. For our D to overcome Miami's rushing attack we're going to need a stellar performance from the whole unit. I think we have a shot but in the end it's just going to come down to Ryan and Pettine coming up with good schemes and our personnel executing them properly. They can't afford any mistakes this week.

In terms of yards per game we are 22nd against the run, while Miami is 4th, they gashed us like crazy with Jenkins in the lineup, without him and we are looking at a serious uphill battle even at home. I could care less about the Oakland game if we don't follow up with a spirited effort against a divisional opponent, we've already fucked up 2 games in the division starting out 1-3 in the division would be a terrible hole

I do think we can score on them since their pass D is mediocre but we need to be somewhere close on TOP to have a shot at this

Why wouldn't I look for negatives just because we shut them out? I didn't like what I saw from the run D. If we weren't opposing possibly the worst starting QB in NFL history, we would have given up a lot of points because our susceptibility to the run would have opened up the pass. Good thing we played the Raiders. I want to see how our D does vs a solid offense. It has not been tested since the Saints game.
