It does sound more like it...Like, Champ is in the basement while his son or brother is sitting on the 2nd floor...

I could see them hit a phone call...

"Son, look at this blasphemy post on Page 3 of the NEW YORK JETS forum."

"I see it, look at the new topic on Page 1, utter disgrace and full of MISINFORMATION AND NONFACTS."

Hey..even the grandson has his own ip address.

What a gutless post this is. How pathetic..did you even read the whole article?

Did you even read the part about Woody Johnson?
Did Herm Edwards leave this team better than he found it? (OK...off topic...but I couldnt resist).

I think that CHAMP 69 and WOODY BURN IN HELL are the same person. One time the CHAMP even admitted it! So in a nut shell you now know why he keeps bringing up the past! He is afraid of the future!

Damn Woody for taking BP's advice and hiring a guy who helped us get to 3 postseasons in 5 years! It really sucked going to the playoffs so much, I will enjoy this 6-7 win season much more.:drunk:

Darksiders feed off the unknown, and this team is full of the unknown.

    Who's are RB?
    Who's are QB?
    What offense will we run?
    What defense will we run?
Can the DL stop the run?
Can the OL protect the QB?
Does the coach have a F@#K!^g clue?

BB warned EM not to take this job, the team had too many question. Was BB right?

I would rather see a coach willing to take the big gamble and try to win, rather than another Edwards who tried to lose by a little. If the drive ends in a kick were doing good. Lets just keep it close. Can't wait to see how he ruins a better team like KC.

Will Mangini have the stones to make the tough calls or turn to his coordinates for every discision? Should we take the penalty, LOL!

Name Clemens the starter and a ray of sunlight will brighten the darkside!

It's a little early to put that on Mangini. It's one thing to look at the play on the field and call it how you see it, it's another thing to judge the coach on a few preseason games and who he choices as he's starters at any given time. This is basically an inheritied roster. Clemens may be a bit of a project? Ramsey may not be picking things up as quick as they anticipated? They may simply like the way Chad gets every one lined up and in the right position? We simply don't know the rebuild plan for the O right now. All we know is Mangini doesn't like any of the veterans that much and he doesn't think Clemens is ready yet. Seems like a pretty reasonable point of view right now.

H'mm sorry Win threw my hat against the TV when CP called that TO in the 1st quarter. To me it showed at least some confusion on his part. If it was the play was not sent in quick enough (doubt that) then we have a similar problem to the PH days which is quite scary

I know this goes against the grain of a lot of posters on this board but contrary to popular opinion, Paul Hackett is the reason this team went to the playoffs 3 out of 5 years under Herm. As boring as Hackett was he held the ship together while Herm was sucking up to the press.

Come on Winston, that's nonsense. We sucked last year b/c hackett wasn't there? We sucked in '03 w/ Hackett- what happened there? No Coach could have won w/ the injuries we had last year. I hate to use them as an excuse but that was the biggest factor why we sucked and the team didn't quit which I loved unlike past crappy Jets teams.

Could very well be. Maybe sending CP to TB for CS would be the answer to both teams QB problems. Maybe reuniting PH & CP will restart CP career

    agreed,

and had Herm put his confidence in Bollinger from the start, we could have gotten a few more wins after the QB injuries and before the O line C-Martin injuries kicked in. Once that happened, it was over.

We sucked last year because they let the OL fall apart over the years and Mawae and Martin went off the cliff.
