1290 we can replace a RB very easily you can not get a franchise QB thats why it will cost us so much. RB is a plug & play spot QB is not.

Tom I disagree. And what makes you think Denver would want TJ. Denver is and has been a RB merry go round for years. TJs contract is not stopping us from paying Cutler.

never even thought of adding tj to the mix. i mean it could work and hes def on the backside of his career so why not if it gets us a franchise qb

Denver would be more inclined to take LW instead. Mark my words they wont settle for TJ.

true but with the picks it could make them bite. they need someone who wont crumble like there 4 or 5 backs did last year

We could draft a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round & he can split time with Leon & we would be fine.

listen everybody...i used TJ as an example...because he has value and is "expendable" IMO. It doesn't mean that will be the case. My point is...the Jets would probably have to include a starter ALONG with picks to make a trade like this to happen.

It doesn't mean I want to trade TJ....i'm just saying he's one of the "viable" options. Bryan Thomas is another.

I am not saying they would want Jones MB Green said as an example a 1st round pick & Jones but it was hypothetical.

I disagree LW cannot give you the 20-25 carries a game and neither will a 2nd -3rd round RB. Maybe 1 of the top 10 RBs but nobody that deep will produce in their first year.

Donald Brown to some pros is the 3rd ranked RB coming out this year we could get him in the 2nd round & right off of the bat he could split time with Leon & we would be fine.

You are putting way to much value into Jones he is 31 slow & he does not break tackles he is okay. Last year he did great cause of the O line & cause teams did not stack the box cause Favre gave us the ability to throw deep & teams had to respect it.

But he doesn't have a lot left in the tank. Guys like him that put on steady mileage every season wear down about this age and start racking up the injuries. It's a pretty steady of the human metabolism when it competes in Pro Football. No matter how sexy their biceps look.
