One thing I notice about Todd Bowles is that, he is a type of person who will not lose the game second time around. He seems to learn from the first game (good or bad) and prepares the team to perform better. See Dolphins and Patriots. Although we cannot look past the Bills, I am confident that Todd Bowles will prepare the team to play much better than the first time.
You know, all this talk about this being a statement game for Rex; it's just as much a statement game for our boys from the top down. I'd like to see our defensive line PUNCH those jills right in their bitch mouths. One last tough, physical, football game to lay it all out on the field. I never really harbored much hate for the Bills in the past but those fans have become worse than Miami and Boston fans with their new found swagger. Real scumbags.
Couldn't agree more and to boot Pace said that everyone is locked in ...which means the players and coaches know what they are playing for and will be ready, willing and able. On a personal note, I want to kick the bills ass not because of the players or the fans but because of that blowhard Rex...
motivation shouldn't be the reason the Jets get up for this game. Time to execute on the field and complete one of the goals and that's to make the playoffs.
This has to be an emotionless, surgical game for the Jets. Set a goal, go about it efficiently and finish the job. _
The Bills will test the Jets with trash talk and cheap hits, believe that. This game is really going to reflect on the head coach and his game-plan.
better then packing it up early and not giving any effort like the giants showed. im sure the ravens are feeling a bit better about themselves after potentially ruining the steelers season even though they were bad this year. i know it was a bit of a silver lining to knock the dolphins from playoff contention even though we had a bad year.
i hope not... night game in january in buffallo probably not the best conditions. would equalize things a bit.
same here. i see it being an ugly game like last time. hopefully broncos lose tonite giving us more outs next week
Vikings/Packers were flexed as of last night, we're in the clear. So far so good, Cincy is winning in Denver.
Game forecast is some SNOW and like 34-24 degrees Global Warming not a factor this weekend Not that it matters while scooping Bison Chips
Do you really think guys in the NFL are happy to be spoilers? I'm serious, I know guys play to win the game as they are paid to do so, but I have never seen a team play spoiler and brag about it during post game interviews like it was a great accomplishment.
This game is going to be really telling. I'm sure most Bills players have already booked sandy beach vacations so they can beat it out of Buffalo minutes after the final whistle. It being Buffalo, who could blame them? On the other hand, Rex will tell us things like: "We're going to play hard through 16 games, there's no question about that." And, "There's no quit in this team, I can guaranty you that." So, I guess we'll see. Rex wants this game badly, I can guaranty you there's no question about that. It'll be interesting whether his players care are much as he says they do, and at least enough such that their focus is on winning for Rex and not sprinting the fuck out of that hell hole of a town.
yes. listen to what bart scott had to say prior to the game. he predicted a ravens win over the steelers, he said they would be ready, said they would be itching to beat them. look at their reaction after the game, they were jacked to have beaten them. look at this team when we had a chance to knock off the dolphins and prevent them from making the playoffs. it was the hardest the team played all year. they reacted like they had just won a playoff game after it was over. these are still competitive guys with pride, sure they were a bad team this year, but that doesnt mean they dont still want to win, especially if it hurts a rival
