We should bring in Mcginest. That would be a great signing for us. Hes a very good player and fits right in the 3-4 Defense that Mangini would probably run. I dont know how you would not wanna go for him when we need another OLB for the 3-4. He will bring great leadership to our young Defense.
good point. but at this stage, i really don't think it's necessary to do that. if we were making a run, i'd say sign Mcginest instantly. but we're not, so we don't need him. Mangini and his staff will let their coaching speak for itself; that is, they'll command the players' respect based on knowledge of the game and experience in winning, regardless of age. cheers

i just thought hed be a good fit in terms of hes a good player right now, a type of player eric is lookin for, but who knows how eric thinks of him since he was his coordinator last season. Maybe he can be an influence on hobson or bryan thomas, hed be a nice player to have when your starting a 3-4.

Willie McGinest is to old. The Jets have to go all out rebuilding with all young players. Curtis Martin should be our only veteran and hes only got another year or two. We need younger linebackers
