    Agreed.

Mario at 4 is not a lock and this organization will consider both Cutler and Young at 4 if the first 3 go Bush, D'Brick, Leinart. Neither Mario or D'Brick are ideal and trading out of the pick is the best possibility for sure. A guy like Bunkley (who can play DT in a 3-4) or Huff are better fits for the defense and I would be the happiest on draft day if we went down to 7-12 and got one of them. Unfortunately, finding a trade down partner will be very hard and I have a strong feeling we'll be selecting from the 4 hole on April 29th.

Plus they just traded Gandy and mighty Ben Archibald is listed as their starting LT. D'Brick and Mario have about equal value and D'Brick fills a much bigger hole so it is ideal.

  3. Rumor is, they're trying Brown at LT in mini camps, and how he does will dictate if they address the LT position. I tend to ignore that rumor and believe they will take Brick no matter what Brown does in mini camp.

It may not seem it, but if we come away w/ Williams at # 4..it is a major steal. This is a guy that was on top of this class's draft board back in August and maintained that stature for going on 8 months now. Most people have him right below Bush in terms of a grade and upside. The fact that he can play in any scheme makes him even more attractive and he'd automatically make our entire front 7, much better.

Yea and I don't think Jamaal Brown will cut it as a LT either. He's the perfect fit for a RT... he's got that great run mauling ability and great understanding in the run blocking system. He doesn't have that in the pass and is an average pass blocker. Much better fit at RT and D'Brick is better at LT... so they've got their bookends for the next 7-10 years.

If a team is going to trade up, its not going to be for D'brick or Mario, but for one of the stars that are going to fall to number 4(Young/Leinart). I love Mario, but if we can get a couple picks out of either Oakland, Buffalo, Detroit, or Arizona so they can pick up the QB that they need then im all for that. Then maybe we can add an extra lineman or OLB with the extra pick, plus still get a high quality player like Justice, Hawk, or Davis
