hmmm, jets are in a tough spot of their own making. beating the steelers is a major task right now with the way the team has been playing, not just the last 2 games but, the past 5 or 6 have been below average play. if we lose to the steelers, i could see things steam roll from there and lose to chicago. then the bills could make their whole off season worth while by knocking the jets out of the playoffs. the bills have been giving everyone a scrap and a motivated bills team is not what the jets want to see come the last game of the season. we either beat the steelers or things snowball and "soj"
If given something to be positive about the fan base would be positive. But when all you see on the field is a giant steaming pile of crap, from top to bottom most weeks, it's hard to "stay positive" You don't need to be a brain surgeon to see that the offense is offensive at this point, and I for one don't think the defense can stop someone if the game was on the line... right now its been a whole lot a talk, and not much else...
Anybody think our expectations were a bit to high this year?? I mean Sanchez still in his second year...
Damn right. Sure, we're all bummed about the last two games, but the human element to the game underscores the unpredictability of every week. :jets:
