We can fill up Wikipedia with all your erroneous stupid useless predictions. You got 2 right... The Raiders would beat the Jets and about the Jets LB's. Congratulations..

What about your Revis prediction about him never sniffing the pro-bowl or the prediction and the subsequent welshing on a bet where you said the Raiders would have a better record then the Jets? How did those turn out?

I can make 1000 predictions too...... hopefully I can do better then 2 right. Geez that is barely calculable.

Now go back to lobbing jizz at your Al Davis poster.

The Problem with that is you have so much money tied up in OLB position. B thomas and Calvin Pace aren't pass rushers an offense has to worry about. Gholston Jets are paying alot of money to be that pass rushing force, but so far he hasn't shown anything. Jets better hope this guy comes on big next year. ITs not only cb but you really don't have a LB that good in coverage.

The sad part is you're not wrong about that.

But I'd have no problem drafting another pass rusher. Keep bringing them in here until we get one right. And I still really like Pace, he's a good linebacker. Still, we need a speed rusher in the worst way.

I remember when you were jizzing in your pants over the possibility of the Raiders drafting Vernon Gholston. I'll bump an old thread if I have to, sir.

Big contract for Darrelle? What do you have in mind? $15Million?

He's already making around $8M. I doubt if he reaches double figures in the near future.

I wouldn't put him in the "standard 4th round category".

He's been much much better than what he is making and what it took us to get him. Way better than that. Usually a 4th rounder ends up being a depth player. He is not a pro bowler, but in a couple of yrs time, he should be one of the 'better' CBs in the league.

Cap is going up, but you have to remember that even if we don't sign anyone, the salaries of all the players go up. That is one of the reason why the cap actually increases yearly.

Apparently, you know very little about football, my son.

No secondary can cover a slew of WRs for 10 minutes. You will know you have a problem with your secondary only and only if you know your front 7 is doing its job - in Jets' case, they weren't doing their job, which was showcased by the lack of pressure on opposing QB.

The contrary is true as well - the more ferocious the pass rush becomes, the more effective the secondary becomes as well.

thank you my man,,i've been saying he and one of the 3 Raven Fa should be top signing priorities...if the jets can clear some space and work things out it will make the draft alot easier

Favre is 12 million, I guess since they have to allow for his money in the cap it will depend on what he does as to how much they have to spend. That's before restructuring and cuts of course. I am sure they have plenty of money with that increase.

After last offseasons massive spending spree, I doubt we will sign any big name free agents this year.

Hehe. . . . You need to stop making it so easier for people searching for new signatures, Jeaux.

Do we need to revisit your history of TGG predictions? Remember, now - we're in year four of the Al's three-year plan.

It's going up to at least 123 million, it could be more.

All of this is detailed in the link I put earlier in the thread, but here's the bottom line as of right now:
NFL '09 Projected Salary Cap: $123,000,000
    NYJ '09 Projected Cap: $131,249,485
    Current Projected Cap Balance: ($8,249,475)

Favre retiring (13 million) would put us at 4,750,525 in the black, and there are obviously some other things we can do.

I agree $13 million is alot to work with plus possibly restructure a few contracts and get in the free agent frenzy. This team still lacks a few pieces to the puzzle.

We still need somebody to play QB and while it "might" not cost 13 million to get one I doubt very much it will be any of the other three currently on the team now.

Oh really? Was it not you who tried debating me that your cap situation was fine and dandy? At any rate, you are right. You guys can't afford Asomugha. I'd love for the Fins to pick him up, but more than likely, he will be franchised. You just don't let the best CB in the league walk.

Nothing you say matters. Your stupidity amazes me every year. What the Jets need to do most is improve the pass rush.
