Panthers are very fortunate they are playing a team with no QB. Newton has been a mess and they have made the type of miscues that will get them absolutely destroyed in Seattle.
Hopefully Game 2 is better. This felt like a week 15 game between 4-10 teams. Terrible play all around
Just look at the QBs in tonight's game. For that reason alone, it should be much better. Lindley played like himself and Newton was pretty bad too.
Wasn't Rod Graves fired because he couldn't get even a competitive Qb. There were a lot better choices than Lindley. They took him because he knew the offense but knew he couldn't move or manage it, They lost every game under Lindley.
Arians is a good coach but I dont know why you dont go to Logan Thomas at some point. Yeah he's a rookie but Im sure you can dumb down the playbook a little and he'd still be 10 times more effective than Lindley. Carolina easily is double digit underdogs no matter who they play next week though. What a mediocre team.
Im rooting for the Ravens. I don't like either of these teams, but to me it's all about who has the best chance to beat the Pats. Steelers always seem to lose to the Pats, while Ravens beat them in a conference game recently. So, go Ravens!
Ravens hold em after that penalty. I like what I see from the ravens pass rush. They seem better thus far.
