I'm going to go with the NFL head of refs on this one and say that was a clean hit given the circumstances.
This is what we get...I really wish the Jets were there. This has to be the biggest joke in NFL history. I cant believe this trash
Hill should have hug that ball tight...And what else is there to say Big Ben did his part. Cincy just immature and fell into the Steelers trap with the emotions. Its embarrassing. Tough being a Cincy fan, they should have been losing to us tonight.
+1 Million Exactly my thoughts NFL becoming Professional Wrestling and questionable calls Ben knocked out of the ring---Ben miraculously comes back Porter inciting on the field like Wrestling manager throwing a chair Burfict with dirty hit, Burfict picking up fumble runs into Locker Room??? Nantz screamin "he better be careful running the wrong way" This was 1:47 left of complete craziness. If Refs on payola I hope they go to jail for life. I think after Dallas game with us there was rigging I dont think Rex could have created a better Circus in the Jungle. Prediction: M lewis canned and Toilet Bowles gives him a job to be asst comiserator Macarron just jinxed Alabama...kid played like garbage 3 quaters and got Bengals ina deep hole. Windup : Steelers know how to win/lucky plus Geno must have bunch of relatives playing for Cinnci..jus total stupidity I have a Cousin living in Cinn ...feel terrible for him
My exact sentiments. I hate their coach, I hate the rapist, I hate their fans, I hate their towel. I hope Broncos just crush them next week.
Even Rex's Jets never melted down like what I saw last night. Lewis lost control of his team and it cost him the game. If this Ref crew was the upper echelon, then the NFL is doomed as they absolutely sucked last night. Went overboard protecting Steeler players while at the same time, enraging the Bengals. I love how the Steelers ran off the field as fast as they could and had a security team surrounding BenRapist during his post game interview. PacMan was right to go off on the refs although it will probably cost him money. As we all know, the NFL has a Ref problem and they'd better get it fixed.
This! - Lost in all this fucking mayhem is the Bengals coaching staff decisions after the INT. I know that many here will disagree , but in that situation given, score field position, weather conditions, Time on clock, Steelers with 3 TO's etc. You KNEEL 3 times and kick the FG. My take on the other crap. Hit on Bernard should have been flagged regardless of what rule you apply. IMO he is still defenseless he barely got his foot down and was in the process of turning, but regardless it was a launched head shot with the crown. Burfict hit was also clearly a penalty, but that still gives the Steelers probably a 50/50 shot. Penalty on Jones was complete bullshit, where the Refs literally just gave the Steelers the game. Their was a lot of crap going on at that point on BOTH sides. You just can't in a playoff game make a call like that that has such a clear impact unless it is clearly one sided.
I'm 90% with you ... Except I LOVE their coach. Mike Tomlin is a badass. He can coach my football team any time. The rest of Steeler Nation can go fuck themselves.
The outcome of the game matters little to me, but Adam Jones belongs on the field, not the OLB coach for Pitt when an offensive player is injured, so why the hell is the player getting flagged. Porter's very presence on the field should have been a flag. Now the league is going to fine him. If he shouldn't have been there you need to fire every single ref for calling the penalty on Jones and then not over ruling it and making it a penalty on the Steelers, because they clearly had no idea how to manage a blatantly obvious situation.
There's being a Jets fan and going through misery.. And being a Bungals fan and going through THAT! Lmfao. What a disaster of team. Anyone see that video of Pacman going crazy????
I'm friends with a former Bengals player, and he said there is nothing but mayhem and chaos behind the scenes in Cincinnati and Lewis can't do anything about it.
Loved that game last night--intensity was amazing. I agree with most that the Pacman call was wrong given the entirety of the situation and what had come before it. Loved the Shazier hit and the way he played--same with Burfict--he's amazing except for the Brown hit. Rain pouring down and Big Ben coming back at the end was the cherry on top. Great game!!
So my hatred for New England runs far deeper than my hatred for Miami, Pitt, Denver, and Buffalo combined. I would prefer Ben and Pitt to win another SB in hopes Ben can marginalize Brady's career when they are both over. Also, Manning winning another SB helps the above agenda as well.
