Why would you dump Jones? They guy has great athletic ability and can play guard and both OT positions. This guy with some actual coaching might turn into a stud and isn't costing us much.
He better become a stud, and Brick needs to shape up too, becasue the O-line will face a much tougher task this season. Thams Jones' addition won't mean much if we can't make better holes than Leon and Ced got last season.
According to PFT, Kendall is only going to make 1.7 million this year and he wants more money. At first I thought we should let him walk, but when you look at the market for guards, a million dollars more is fairly reasonable. Kendall is still a plus player at the position, and the Jets really don't have a viable alternative. Part of our strategy this year is going to have to be ball control. We really SHOULD consider paying the man. -X-
