Incredible. As if God coaches football teams. Well, its not like God is going to answer that tweet... It couldn't possibly be Moore though. No accountability on this team to be found. Last year it was ghosts, this year its God. Next year? Bermuda Triangle.
Maybe why the Jets suck could be the focus of a new X-Files spinoff. Scully and Mulder look into the ghosts and the Bermuda Triangle, and then on to various other paranormal and extra-terrestrial phenomena each week until they find the answer. The series finale ends with the twist that it's actually because of two incompetent billionaires who don't care about the product they're putting on the field.
We all must blame whom we can for the Jets' shortcomings. I blame the planetary alignment in conjunction with gravitational forces beyond mortal understanding.
Very simple: 1. We have a GM who refused to trade down from #2 overall , which led to 2. Missing out on a pile of picks which could help this pathetic roster, then he 3. Traded an established 4th year QB and drafted a 15 year old to play QB who scares no one, who has 4. No running game to work with thanks to years of MacCagnan ignoring OL, plus a 5. Head coach who hired his buddies, including an OC who looks younger and probably knows less than Wilson, and a 6. Defense which can't stop a nosebleed, and a DC who thinks rookie safeties can play LB , and still has 7. Trumaine Johnson on its salary cap and 8. Adam Gase on its payroll for two more years.
Psalm 34:18 New International Version 18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Someone may want to text him a reminder.
We suck because this team Isn't a complete team. We don't have enough talent overall still. We are young. We have a lot of work to do before It gets better. It's a process. We are still In the suck process of things. Which, hence, the suck.
What's your take on Zach Harrison? We could use a blue chip edge rusher and he's considered a top prospect at the position.
I know you weren't asking me but he's been relatively invisible this year. At least as compared to what he's supposed to be. My two friends who are diehard OSU fans are very disappointed in him thus far.
Dey ain't happy in Carolina... For the first time on Sunday, Carolina Panthers fans witnessed the Sam Darnold that the New York Jets gave up on. Darnold pressed. He hurried. He underthrew deep balls and overthrew short balls, and — most damaging of all — served up three interceptions in Carolina’s 21-18 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. That was the Sam Darnold the Jets gave up on, and it’s what the Panthers don’t need https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/scott-fowler/article254904482.html Sam Darnold's struggles may have Panthers mulling move for Deshaun Watson https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...ing-move-for-deshaun-watson-more-from-week-5/
Surely he’ll figure it out once he brings in his third QB in three seasons next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think he might be a serviceable player, consistent/solid, he needs a lot of growth In his game yet though. I don't know, he reminds me of Calvin Pace. Good edge setter, not a great bend, stout, hard worker, good tackler, not overly athletic, yet, athletic enough to get by. Stiff. I don't dislike the kid, I wouldn't bank on him being a game changer In the NFL though.
