Why Trade Up to #2 when we can have #1

    It was a hot juicy rumor. There is no way it will happen though.

    Abe is probably going to lower his asking price a bit (not too many teams are knocking down his door).

    If (for some reason ) we traded Abe for a mid-high second rounder, I can't say I'd be opposed to trading our 4th pick overall and lower second rounder to move up to the #2 spot.

    I know some will argue that (in that case) we should just keep both second rounders and stay at 4 (or trade down), but if we draft a QB I think it should be Lienart.

    I really want to go into the season with either Schaub or Lienert on our roster. I wouldn't be upset if we drafted Cutler, but IMO he's more of a risk.
