Or they didn't want to risk losing out on 2 really good coaches since Dan Quinn couldn't accept the job before the Super Bowl was over so they went with the other really good up and coming candidate.
I am willing to give Bowles the benefit of the doubt on the play clock and 4th down issues. A lot of coaches grow into the job like Pete Caroll did. But I am not sold on Gailey. Some of his plays have been questionable at best.
