considering dan koppen's job in NE, and being a non-hyped BC product, there's very much his clone in this draft, who won't go very high either, which I could see us taking him in the 5th (i believe thats the same round he went)

we really don't have to take a C in the first round...also the kid out of FLA is decent too and should be available in the 4th (centers rarely go high, also i have no idea why right now both these guys name are eluding me)

...personally if lawson is there i would rather grab him considering its more likely if he even was available there that he would be picked up in between our picks

I agree 100% go after Eslinger rather then wasting a 1st round pick on a center..If he falls to us at 35 then go after him..A first on a center is a bit much with the chance of picking a Carpenter, Maroney (cross fingers Williams) or Jonathan Scott (who's stock has fell due to a shit combine) or Mcneil.

My thoughts.... its Leinart not Leinhart. Neway i like mangold at #29 but im really not that bothered about C's... are they really that important? i mean like would a centre make that much of an impact on a game? mabey this is because Mawae used to stop anything that tried moving in his direction but mabey not

As alternatives to Mangold that the Jags could take are Thomas Howard, Manny Lawson and maybe even a running back if one of the remaining 3 fell.

Why would the Jags take a running back? Didnt they draft Greg Jones last year?

I say not only is Mangold available at 29 but we pass on him at 29. Name me one C worth a first round pick in the last decade or so.. I think we target a OLB at 29 and there should be quality talent at that position when we are on the clock..
