Why is the draft starting at 4 PM EST?

    I like the 4pm start. Now I can get a solid 6 hours at the beach and not miss a single pick.

    I dont mind it but I dont really like it. If they want to make it a high profile thing they should:

    Round 1 on Friday Start at 7 pm
    Round 2 - 4 on Saturday Start at 3 pm
    Round 5-7 on Sunday Start at 12 pm

    all times are est

    This also gives time for teams to redo their boards between days allows more trading of personnel and picks as well.

    When it ends depends on how fast picks are made. Is this your first draft?
