if clowney was better he would be playing. until proven otherwise it looks like clowney is a one trick pony. he can run really fast in a straight line. that won't get him very far in the nfl on sundays.

Matt Jones? He's the best FA WR I can think of other than Marvin Harrison and Amani Toomer but neither of those guys would provide a real upgrade

If Matt Jones is an upgrade then our WR group is in awful shape.

I think Brad Smith has been excellent. He's taken some big shots on some short passes and held on to the ball. He's been an asset running the football. I have been pretty pleasantly surprised with him.

Look, whatever Clowney needs to do, he's not doing it, but Shonn Greene got his shot and I think Clowney eventually will too.

It's not all Smith, but I haven't been extremely happy with his hands. He let a few go through his hands that shouldn't have.

However, some of the throws Sanchez was making yesterday were really hanging receivers out to dry. They were behind them, too high at times and you can't do that in the middle of the field unless you want your wideouts being carted off to the sidelines. Sanchez is promising, but it's not all there yet.

Smith doesn't tweet - that's why. He still pages people old school style and Rex is an old school kind of guy.

People quickly forget that Smith was the one doing that amazing blocking for Stuckey on those screens and that Smith was also uncovered in the end zone on Stuckey's blown coverage TD.

How would people feel about Smith if Sanchez had thrown to him rather than Stuckey on that play?

That depends, are you assuming he would catch the ball?
