Why Hasn't Gase Been Fired Yet?

    The only thing is don't assistants on playoff teams not interview before their team is eliminated? I might be wrong.

    But that nixes Bienemy and Daboll from any sort of consideration for at least another 3+ weeks.

    It'd give us a jumpstart on college coaches as they kind of do whatever the hell they want in terms of leaving before their bowl games. I can't see Fitzgerald or Matt Campbell doing that to their teams though. They seem too committed to the programs to "disrespect" them like that.

    What other assistants would we want that aren't on playoff teams?

    I think it was changed this year where you can ask to interview them regardless if they have been eliminated or not?

    Got it. Yes I saw this headline but I didn't read it thoroughly. Looks like teams can deny the request though. If I'm the Chiefs or Bills I would. Don't want a guy coaching a playoff game with one foot out the door.
