you asked who had openings, junc....and I answered. I didn't take any junc conspiracy theories into consideration. But i did miss one......the Niners. EDIT: BTW, the Niners received permission to interview Hue Jackson.....is that part of Oakland's plan in place?
It might be because he is an awful OC who learned from a guy that proved he could not win playoff games. It would be a dream come true if he gets a HC job because the Jets wont fire him, but it just wont happen.
I say give him another year and he's gone... 2 full years is supposedly what it takes to develop a QB in the NFL... we'll see how that pans out in year 3 of Sanchez.
Good thing we didn't listen to you or we wouldn't have rex who learned from his Father who NEVER won a playoff game as a HC.
You missed half my post though. Rex was great at what he did before getting the HC job. Schotty is dreadful as the OC. He has no clue what he is doing and has been one of the reasons the Jets have not been elite this year. Oh, and Schotty has sucked this badly for 4 years now.
If Sanchez has to have shoulder surgery I think it would be a terrible scenario to have him trying to rehab and learn a new offense at the same time.
Actually he is a good OC despite the whining of the Jet fans. Sanchez is developing nicely and that is thanks in large part to Brian.
ohhhhh LEGIT openings.....funny, you didn't say that in your original post. the only non legit opening is the Raiders....because Al Davis coaches from his bedpan.
Schotty's offense has been too inconsistent for anybody to seriously consider him for a HC position. Schotty needs to prove himself and he hasn't done so yet.
Really, what is he good at exactly? Is it coming up with ways to get play-makers the football? Coming up with a good gameplan? Making in-game adjustments? Getting the most out of his players? Because I would argue he is awful, as in worst in the NFL awful, at all of those things. The guy cant coach his way out of a paperbag. He has squandered talent and does nothing but play for fg's. He is literally as bad as it gets in the NFL, and truth be told, I would bet that there are about 100 college OC's who I would take over him. As for Sanchez, I am not sure I see this development. He is still inaccurate, indecisive, and makes bad decisions. Oh, and he was the 5th pick, which means he already should have had talent. So, an argument can be made that Sanchez has not developed, but actually regressed under Schotty. But hey, guys like Chad, Clemens, Favre, Brees, etc... are a testament to his ability, right?
not disclosing all the parameters in your question is dumbing it down for me? lol. no wonder nobody takes you seriously.
Those who don't take me seriously are generally those who don't understand the game. It's common sense, we can list 12 openings but if 8 of them have guys in place then there really are only 4 openings, right?
The last time Schotty was actually considered for a HC position was after the '06 season if I remember correctly.
