Why do the NY Jets and the Indianapolis Colts wear the same uniform?

    The jets and colts are the only two teams with the stripes that are made of a different material.

    That's like totally the same exact uniform (barring colors, stripes, helmet, logo style and neck design). Identical!!

    I have always said this myself. Jets have a slight edge because I think the green is much nicer but both uniforms are very classic looking, love the all whites.

    The uniforms have similar looks now . With the slight changes to the uniforms over the years Pairing a uni from one era to another would provide a better match

    I don't know if they all look the same. I do know the uniform has been a total downgraded ever since they put the team's name on the Jersey as a patch on one side. It's just plain tacky looking. I would love if they went to a more plain classic look.

    The 80's jerseys looks so much nicer.

    Drink some coffee. If you look hard enough you will find similarities in a lot of teams unis, mascots, rosters, cheerleaders, coaching styles, whatever. The JETS came along when the Colts were good. Why wouldn't we copy a bit?

    Nice try, our numbers are on the arm and not on top of the shoulders, plus the stripes are all wrong.....

    Look at my avatar and look at Andrew Luck. Notice the shoulder stripes and placement of numbers on the arm? These are the only two uniforms designed like that in the NFL! Coincidence?

    The stripes are different, the team logo is in a different place, and the neck shape and design are both different. The only thing that's the same is that blue and green are both dark colors and the numbers are in the same place. :beer:
