Why did the Jets trade Santana Moss?

    I agree with you but Moss only played 3 years with Pennington who never played a full season in those 3 years. Hard to blame Moss for not developing good chemistry with a QB who wasn't consistently on the field and couldn't get the ball out fast enough to utilize Moss's talent.

    Moss was dumped because the Jets committed huge money to Pennington who didn't have a good enough arm to utilize Moss's skills and Moss wanted big money and as long as Pennington was Moss's QB he wasn't worth big money.

    I hear ya, but it didn't take much time for Pennington to develop chemistry with Coles or with Testaverde to develop chemistry with Moss. It's just the QB that the receiver does better with.
