because what a bigger stage than NY to promote his faith. Hey, he can back it up, and more power to him.

To be fair, that may have to do with the NFL's substitution rules; they plainly intend to have Tebow run the wildcat (probably more often than is wise). But if Tebow were listed as the 3rd string QB, by NFL rules if he entered the game than Sanchez would not be allowed to re-enter the game.

Granted I could be wrong; I hope that if Sanchez actually went down the Jets coaching staff would have the sense to start Stanton rather than Tebow.

It was nice to hear it right from Tebow's mouth...HE HAD NO CHOICE.

There was a lot of bad quotes today, you listened to the wrong ones.

This right here . Adam Schefter corrected his tweet a few minutes after the first and said Tebow did not choose either one , Denver did! Who knows

Tebow was crackin' up during the conference call when he said Denver "had all the power" when deciding where he was going to end up.

With all the weird crazy on the field stuff that happens around Tebow , you can bank on this one .

Just want to re-iterate what you are saying even though it is sorta off topic. The Jags are locked into a ridiculously restricted lease that would require them to prove that they lost money (virtually impossible for an NFL team to do) in three consecutive seasons to even have the option of being pillaged by an LA ownership group that would want 30-40% of the team as you mentioned. There is no way Khan (a shrewd businessman who loves tight control of his operations) would do this, because even though they have terrible attendance and performance, they make money. An LA team will happen very soon (within 3-5 years) but it will likely be an expansion along with one other expansion team as Roger Goodell has publicly discussed doing as much. Watch for San Antonio as the top other city to be talked about in the coming years.

With that said, there definitely was input from Tebow on where he ended up. I would not at all be surprised if he is a starter by week 4. He even seems to be more of a Rex Ryan guy; strong, bruising runner, tough, sorta reckless on the field. Pretty much the opposite of Sanchez.

They changed that rule at the beginning of the 2011 season.
