And if they picked Leinart, he would be a waste if he didnt turn out to be Manning, Brady, Montana, or Elway.

Only time will tell how good ANY pick is.

D'Brick was the right pick for us...we may have a good oline again next year. Guys like Pennington, Clemens, Martin, Houston and Washington will all benefit due to the HUGE BOOST to our oline...I am extremely happy with our draft.

No one has said he was on their level. He was the best OT in this draft, but he has holes. Not a great run blocker and can be beat in pass rush. He has the athletic ability and frame to grow into a franchise left tackle he's just not there yet. Sort of like Dave Cadigan and Mike Haight the last two Jets OT's taken in the first round.

More like Marvin Powell who was also taken at 4 and was a 5 time pro bowl player.

I wasn't in here during the draft ysterday and I am dumbfounded by the bashing of the draft. it's one of the reasons I dislike the draft b/c so many people who don't know what they are talking about(not directed at you TheFuture as you are a good poster) start complaining when on ppaer it looks like we had a GREAT draft. OL aren't sexy picks but they won't be complaining when Chad and co. have all day to throw and the RBs have holes to run through again.

It's tuff for any QB to throw from his back, or better yet, his hospital bed, which is where our QB's would be if we didn't address the O-Line.
