Whos your Back-up Team

When it has no impact on the Jets success, I root for the Giants.

 

I've always been a Favre/Pack sympathist as well.

 

Ditto because my Dad is a Giants fan and we both hate the Patriots.

 

I root for the Chargers when it has no negative impact on the Jets... I felt bad for Shott, and LT is such a class guy it's hard not to root for him... Plus, he's one of the FEW who actually called out Bellichek...

Same here... I have guys I like to see do well, but I'll never root for a team other than the JETS unless it directly benefits the Jets

 

I would never claim to have a 'backup team', but I usually root for the Cowboys whenever they are playing (someone other than the Jets, obviously). There's no harm or foul in rooting for another team, especially if its in the NFC, as long as you don't act like or pretend to be a fan. I live in Dallas and most of my friends are Cowboys fans.. I feel a sort of obligation to respect the home team.

 

Yea. Since I'm a transplanted Jets/Yanks/Isles fan in the middle of massivetwoshits, I root for any NY team (except the Mets)

 

I'm a Cowboys fan but the Jet's are my "backup", or AFC team if you will
