Not me, the Dolphins are the more well rounded team with better talent.
They were out-coached and special teams blew up.

We had a easier time with the Pats and that was us at 80%. Next time we'll be full throttle.

Rightly so...from what I heard on NFL radio this morning...the guy who let the defenders by, failed to executive fundamental special teams technique, they said.

    That's a coaching issue.

Yeah, they said the Pats watched what the Jets did and repeated it almost exactly.

How does a coach not fix that? So many blunders last night though, KOR TD, blocked FG, and punt. Ugly special teams game.

Well if it means anything the Pats have the tougher up coming schedule as they play Indy & SD whereas the Phags play the Raiders & Titans. We play the Texans & Broncs. All the rest of the games are the same between all 3 teams. Actually while the Pats W was easier the Mia W was better since it was away vs the Pat win at home. Brady to my way of thinking is still one of the most dangerous players in the league & in my thinking I felt that NE was a stronger team then Mia & as usual the media had over hyped Mia. Mort is reporting that Mia is benching Henne for Thgpen

The teams were virtually tied at the half. Miami self destructed in the second half, more or less. Not much to take away from other than the W if you are a Pats fan. The game certainly did not show NE regained its status as an offensive powerhouse.

One thing is for sure, Moss is a shitty blocker or was just not trying last night. Did you see that wiff on Davis, he didn't even try to stop him. Your WRs had best be good blockers, especially running to the outside like that.

That was pathetic, I made a post about it in the Week 4 other games thread. The announcers were like 'look at Davis, he's a missile'. I was thinking dude did we watch the same play??

I would have preferred Miami. We have to go to NE but the Fins come to us. I would rather travel to a team we are a game ahead of. Plus, I hate the Pats......

It was a great win for the Pats regardless if it wasn't perfect. A win on the road, against the Dolphins, in the warm weather? I'll take that any day.

Miami was not going to let the Pats get the big play, so Moss and Welker were doubled most of the game. As a result, the Patriots took what they could get. The difference here is that Brady was on the mark this game and still made key completions.

In the 2nd quarter when the Dolphins were moving up and down the field and the Patriots D was getting gassed, the Patriots came up with a 16 play, 9 minute drive that enabled the D to settle down and get a big rest. Huge drive. It wasn't beautiful but it was productive.

The issue wasn't the offense it was the defense. This was a defense that was supposed to make any QB look good, you know? And yet in the the end the Pats D came up with some pretty key stops when they needed to. Even some very nice 3rd down stops.

Sure the defense still has issues but at least yesterday they showed up and played. The offense will remain dangerous.

The Pats needed a big win here and they got it. A nice morale boost to a young team.

The special teams play was just fun to watch and throughly deflated the Miami team and fans. Tate is real fast. That was his second TD on a kickoff.

I feel like we now need to do well with the last set of divisional games. 5-1 in the division should be good enough to win it for us but that means we have to beat either Miami in NY or NE at their place.
