Well he did play H.S football within the state of FLORIDA and we all know how great H.S Football is in the south lol I'm just busting your chops man.

I do find it cool and intriguing how you were a booster back in the day; bet you've got a lot of interesting stories (outside of airing kids dirty laundry).

I'm still a booster, and I never air any dirty laundry. If anything I have defended players. Knowing who is doing wrong, is not the same as outing them :D
I have seen where and how so many of these kids live, actually survive.
It's no wonder so many are screwed up , but it does piss me off when they throw away the opportunity they have. Not only to better their life, but the lives of their children and others.
Unless you have actually lived in the south , Florida and Texas in particular, I don't think you can understand just how big football is here. Pee Wee teams don't bring PA equipment , Tunnels , smoke machines and busses full of fans any where else. High Schools don't recruit players from across the country and the level of home grown talent is pretty much unmatched. That I'll agree with you on.

Are you familiar with Tampa Bay area H.S Football in particular? It's big time down here as of last year (2017) the city of Miami had 25 players and Fort Lauderdale 15, with Houston ranking second with 17. The only other cities with more NFL players than Tampa Bay are Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C.

I have been to several Lakewood games.
Im willing to bet almost all of those players from Ft.Laud come from St.Thomas. I think the #s are a little skewed though. Some contain smaller neighboring cities or unincorporated areas others stick to stricter areas from what I saw in past years. I'd like to see a breakdown by county. Miami for instance only includes Dade school but Monroe county plays most of their games against Miami schools and their players are not counted. I just think county #s would be more accurate.

An abdominal injury. Damn this isn't good, I feel as if he's our most polished/all around receiver. Considered as day to day/week to week. I'd have Dez Bryant on speed dial.

Horrible news. Hopefully a team loaded at WR drops a decent prospect.

Kearse will be fine relax. Day to day week to week is nothing. We have 15 days until week 1 in Detroit. Plenty of time to heal up. I have little doubt he'll play

And while I do like him and he had a solid season last year let's not pretend that he's some world beater. We still have Enunwa and Robby Anderson and Pryor if Kearse can't go week 1.

Dez is on the decline. Haven't followed him much but he seems to be playing the part of an annoying huckster on twitter desperate for a job somewhere.

But yea if Kearse is out for an extended period of time and Bryant isn't a Patriot or Brown I'd be interested in bringing him here.

Not a fan of Peake or Stewart but if I had to chose between the two it's going to be Stewart. More natural ability and upside.

I don't care how big an asshole Pryor is he's a freakish natural talent. 6'4 228 and great leaping a ability will make him a huge goal line target for Sam. Plus you can do a lot of gadget stuff with Pryor. Line him up under center. Wildcat stuff. He's a Brad Smith type only a better receiver.

    Cimini:

WIDE RECEIVER (6): Jermaine Kearse, Robby Anderson, Quincy Enunwa, Terrelle Pryor, Andre Roberts, Tre McBride

Some tough decisions. Do they keep 2017 fourth-round pick Chad Hansen? Based on performance, he doesn't deserve to make the 53. Roberts sticks because of his punt/kickoff returning ability. Charone Peake, a former draft pick who has multiple roles on special teams, loses out to McBride, one of the surprises in camp. ArDarius Stewart, another disappointing former pick, begins the season with a two-game league suspension.

Another Mac pick bites the dust? Hard to argue against what cimini predicts and good for mac if he cuts a 2nd year player and swallows his pride but damn, at some point he has to hit in these picks if we are going to get ahead of the talent dearth on this team.

    Peake
    Hansen
    Potentially Stewart

Mac has to get better here.

Can add Mauldin, Jones , Donahue and a few others to that list. Not WRs, but bad picks.

Derrick Jones? I think he'll make the team, and was a late pick to boot.

Peake was a 7th rounder. No big deal. Sucks to see Hansen underwhelm this preseason, especially with all the reports how well he was doing in mini-camp. I think he's gone. Maybe practice squad if he can clear waivers? Stewart probably stays, even with the suspension. I'm still a firm believer Teddy gets traded before deadline if another teams #1gets hurt. That frees up another spot.
